1. Used in ladle refining to remove impurities such as sulphur and oxygen from the fresh water and to reduce the content of harmful elements and impurities in the steel, suitable for plain carbon steel, high carbon steel and high/low alloy steel.

2. The fluidity of the refining slag is very good, optimising the kinetic conditions of the desulphurisation reaction and allowing deep desulphurisation.

3. The high purity of the pre-molten refining slag, the uniform chemical composition, the low melting point, the fast slagging speed, can significantly reduce the refining time and can be used directly in the converter ladle out process slag washing, improve the cleanliness of the steel. And does not contain fluorine or a small amount of fluorine, reducing furnace lining erosion, effectively reducing the pollution of the environment by fluorine. Due to the dense structure of pre-molten refining slag, not absorbing water, easy to store and transport storage, not pulverised, not volatile, can significantly reduce the steel plant dust pollution, but the production costs are higher.

4. Sintered refining slag has a more uniform, stable composition and faster melting speed, but the cost is relatively increased. Due to the small density of sintered slag and many pores, it is easy to cause the refining process to absorb gas.
