What is CaSi cored wire (calcium silicon cored wire)?
CaSi cored wire, as its name implied, it consists of a steel sheath filled with a mixture of ferroalloys, primarily calcium silicon powder(CaSi). The core material is released into molten steel in a controlled manner during the steelmaking process.
CaSi cored wire can control of inclusions, it can help to control the formation of inclusions in the steel and improve castability of molten steel. Besides, it can purify the form of steel inclusions when it used in steelmaking.
