What is Ferro Boron

Ferro Boron Producing Method
When it comes to producing, we have to introduce it. Generally speaking, producing methods for ferro boron are as follows:
- Reduction method;
- Aluminothermic method;
- Upper ignition method.
Among these methods, carbon reduction method is used rarely due to its scarce use. It is noted that its carbon content is higher relatively than others. This is the reason why it can produce ferro boron.
Aluminothermic method is used commonly than we mentioned above. It used boron anhydride and Mg-Al alloy as raw material to produce ferro boron. In particular, in chemistry, anhydride is the rest part after acid dehydrating.
While, upper ignition method is mainly used to produce low carbon FeB.
