Applications of Graphitized Petroleum Coke

1. Graphitized petroleum coke carbonizer for steelmaking is a special carbonizer independently developed and produced for the performance of steelmaking, which can play a good carbon increase effect in steelmaking. At the same time, it can enhance temperature control, give a high temperature and smooth natural environment for the raw materials in the smelter. And it can also avoid blockage at the entrance and exit points, further increasing the service life of the ladle.

2. GPC has a granular form and can dissolve well in the molten iron, making it more fluid and allowing graphite to play a stronger role in the molten iron, which can improve the quality of the product in casting.

3. In the cast iron industry, GPC is also used as an inoculant to enhance the carbide pellets in the molten iron.

4. Used for making high temperature crucible in smelting, lubricant in machinery industry, making electrode and pencil core; widely used in metallurgy industry as high grade refractory material and coating, stabilizer in military industry, pencil core in light industry, carbon brush in electrical industry, electrode in battery industry, catalyst in fertilizer industry, etc.

5. It can be also used in the manufacture of brake pads and the production of wear-resistant materials.
